My favorite sport

Hello my friends!

I will tell you a little about of my favorite sports. My hobby is floorball. I play in Tikkurila Tiikerit B2 Team and we have practices three times a week, and sometimes we have games on weekends. I am forward and I do a lot of goals and also assist them. I also exercise a lot of in my free time. For example in winter I go often to outdoor ice rink to play ice hockey. And in summer I play basketball and football with my friends.

When I watch sports I don't really like to watch floorball at all.

I prefer to watch ice hockey because it is a wonderful sport to watch. My favorite teams are the Helsingin Jokerit and New York Rangers. Jokerit plays SM-liiga and Rangers plays National Hockey League which is abbreviated to the NHL. Today I was spectating in Jokerit game. Jokerit played against HIFK and final result of the game was 3-2 to Jokerit. It was really exiting game and one of the HIFK's goal was rejected!

Proud to be a Finn

Dear readers
In Finland there are many good things that makes our live happy. For example, in Finland we have good traffic communications and they are nearly always on time. When i go to school by bus it is almost always on time. But because it is snowing in Finland the buses may be delayed in bad weather.

Also the fact that That we have a free school is really great and a good thing. Many students may think that school is boring and a waste of time especially in the elementary school. In Finland we have the best school system in the world. And I think it is a great privilege to go to school for free.

As well equality is a Finnish right. This is reflected in women's voting rights and also in work life. in many other countries women don't have rights

These and many other things that make me proud to be a Finn.

A week in Playa del ingles
I spent last week in Playa del ingles with my boyfriend. Our flight left at
7.00 AM and we arrived there at 15.00 PM local time. Our accommodation was
pretty nice, four star hotel near to the beach. Near our hotel was a big
shopping mall. We went shopping many times, but my boyfriend didn't like it
that much.

People in Playa del ingles were really nice and kind to us. In most restaurants
there were finnish menus and the waiters spoke also finnish. In the evenings
we went eating out and the food was really good. There were a lot of tourists
from Scandinavia, especially from Sweden.

Everything was cheaper than in Finland. Most of our time we spent on the beach
or pool, swimming and sunbathing. I didn't swim in the ocean because the water
was too cold to me! I went also in fish-spa, where you put your feet in
fishpool and little fishes clean your feet. It was fun and tickled a lot!

The weather was good, there were couple cloudy days but it didn't rain.
Everyday there were 25-30 degrees warm.

Proud to be a Finn

I think Finland is a great country. Everybody can be who he wants to be. No one has shortage of water, food, clothes etc. You can walk safely in the streets and don`t have to be afraid of anything.

It`s great to have four seasons like we have here in Finland. Winter is  snowy, spring is lightful,  summer is sunny and warm and autumn is rainy. We have a beautiful nature. We have thousands of lakes, a lot of forrests and  of course we have the famous Lapland.

It is also great to have good communal services and education possibilities. It`s possible for everyone to educate himself  as far  as he is   able to. Health care services are almost free to everyone and they are  of a very high quality. All families have a possibility to have communal child care for almost free. That gives a chance to let both parents to work.

Finns are fanatic sport fans especially in icehockey. Finland has won two World Championships. There are also many great skiiers, rally and formula drivers and athletes

All things considered Finland is a very beautiful, interesting and safe place to live and raise your children.

Welcome here!

MY TRIP TO BARCELONA
Me and my family went to Barcelona almost one month ago. Departure was early in the morning and when we did arrival in Barcelona was still morning. We did took the cap at the airport, which we traveled to a small village Espluges.
I think that Espluges is much better place than the center of Barcelona for two reasons. At first, at the center were too much people, but when it comes to Espluges, there wasn't any tourists in addition to us. And second place at the center was so expencive too eat or shop, which is certainly understandable.
Any way, in the evening we went to FC Barcelona's training center, where my little brother was playing whit his ages Barca boys.
Food was there much better than in Finland and I did like very much at the sightseens. But I regret that I didn't had a time to go to watch the Casa de Famil church.
I could have been there longer, than the week, but fortunately we get there agen on March. Because my brother did get the invited to practice whit Barca agen. And who knows if we could move there.

I'm going to tell you about one of my favorite food... And it's Lasagne! It's an Italian dish and it usually includes pasta, tomato sauce and cheese sauce. It can includes too minced meat, fish or vegetables for example. Lasagne is cooked in oven after baking minced meat. Making Lasagne takes about half an hour.

I've eaten Lasagne in many places: In restaurant and at home for example and my mother's Lasagne is the best in my opinion. I like it very much because it's so tasty. It is also quite oily and fatty but it doesn't harm when you do sports and burn calories.

Lasagne is not the only good pasta dish. Almost all types of pasta are delicious. It's also true athletes food because it includes a lot of carbonhydrates. My team always eat chicken pasta before a game. I look forward to the next time when my mother makes the appetizing Lasagne. I recommend everyone to eat Lasagne!

Floorball

I am writing my blog about my hobby, floorball. I think that floorball is a good hobby and I enjoy about playing it. I took up floorball when I was eight-year-old, so now I have been into it for seven years. I have played my whole life in Tikkurilan Tiikerit. I am now at B-junior age so we have players who have born in 1996 or 95. This season we got to SM-series so we will have games all around Finland and the games will be tough.
I think that floorball is a good hobby for everyone. It is easy to start and you get a good exercise when you run after the ball. There are many clubs where people play only for exercise, so you don´t necessarily have to play floorball for serious. In many fields, where you need a good condition, floorball is also very popular. For example firemen and polices often have floorball practices couple times a week.
Floorball is a young hobby, and its popularity is growing all the time. In some day, floorball can easily be an Olympic-sport.
