Proud to be Finn
Shy people, sauna, Nokia, icehockey, and lakes.
Those are normal stereotypes of Finland, but what kind of country Finland is and what kind of people there live?
We have great nature here in Finland, for example there is thousands of lakes, forests, and the Lapland.
Finish people enjoy to be in nature and most of people have summercottages all over the countryside of Finland.
We are pretty good at sports, especially in winter games, like icehockey, crosscountry skiing and skijumping.
Stereotypic is that we are shy and quiet, but I don't think so. My opinion the fact is that we are open, friendly, polite and talkative people, but of course it depends  on people.

Finland is welfare state – we have great social supports and learning opportunities.
In other words, state takes care of people and schools are open for everyone and everybody have as good changes succeed with studies.
Finland was the second most least corrupted country in the world (according to the latest survey), it means that the Finish politicians are proficients and reliable, what is very good thing.
Technology is on the high level and Finland is pretty rich country all in all.
There are also lot of beatiful cities, for example Helsinki (which is a capital city of Finland),  Tampere, Turku and Kuopio.

In other words, I think that the phrase ”It's jackpot to born in Finland” hold true, because Finland is safe and in every way good place to leave.
I´m proud of Finland and very thankful that I was born here and get to live here!
