My favorite sport

Hello my friends!

I will tell you a little about of my favorite sports. My hobby is floorball. I play in Tikkurila Tiikerit B2 Team and we have practices three times a week, and sometimes we have games on weekends. I am forward and I do a lot of goals and also assist them. I also exercise a lot of in my free time. For example in winter I go often to outdoor ice rink to play ice hockey. And in summer I play basketball and football with my friends.

When I watch sports I don't really like to watch floorball at all.

I prefer to watch ice hockey because it is a wonderful sport to watch. My favorite teams are the Helsingin Jokerit and New York Rangers. Jokerit plays SM-liiga and Rangers plays National Hockey League which is abbreviated to the NHL. Today I was spectating in Jokerit game. Jokerit played against HIFK and final result of the game was 3-2 to Jokerit. It was really exiting game and one of the HIFK's goal was rejected!

Proud to be a Finn

Dear readers
In Finland there are many good things that makes our live happy. For example, in Finland we have good traffic communications and they are nearly always on time. When i go to school by bus it is almost always on time. But because it is snowing in Finland the buses may be delayed in bad weather.

Also the fact that That we have a free school is really great and a good thing. Many students may think that school is boring and a waste of time especially in the elementary school. In Finland we have the best school system in the world. And I think it is a great privilege to go to school for free.

As well equality is a Finnish right. This is reflected in women's voting rights and also in work life. in many other countries women don't have rights

These and many other things that make me proud to be a Finn.

A week in Playa del ingles
I spent last week in Playa del ingles with my boyfriend. Our flight left at
7.00 AM and we arrived there at 15.00 PM local time. Our accommodation was
pretty nice, four star hotel near to the beach. Near our hotel was a big
shopping mall. We went shopping many times, but my boyfriend didn't like it
that much.

People in Playa del ingles were really nice and kind to us. In most restaurants
there were finnish menus and the waiters spoke also finnish. In the evenings
we went eating out and the food was really good. There were a lot of tourists
from Scandinavia, especially from Sweden.

Everything was cheaper than in Finland. Most of our time we spent on the beach
or pool, swimming and sunbathing. I didn't swim in the ocean because the water
was too cold to me! I went also in fish-spa, where you put your feet in
fishpool and little fishes clean your feet. It was fun and tickled a lot!

The weather was good, there were couple cloudy days but it didn't rain.
Everyday there were 25-30 degrees warm.

Proud to be a Finn

I think Finland is a great country. Everybody can be who he wants to be. No one has shortage of water, food, clothes etc. You can walk safely in the streets and don`t have to be afraid of anything.

It`s great to have four seasons like we have here in Finland. Winter is  snowy, spring is lightful,  summer is sunny and warm and autumn is rainy. We have a beautiful nature. We have thousands of lakes, a lot of forrests and  of course we have the famous Lapland.

It is also great to have good communal services and education possibilities. It`s possible for everyone to educate himself  as far  as he is   able to. Health care services are almost free to everyone and they are  of a very high quality. All families have a possibility to have communal child care for almost free. That gives a chance to let both parents to work.

Finns are fanatic sport fans especially in icehockey. Finland has won two World Championships. There are also many great skiiers, rally and formula drivers and athletes

All things considered Finland is a very beautiful, interesting and safe place to live and raise your children.

Welcome here!

MY TRIP TO BARCELONA
Me and my family went to Barcelona almost one month ago. Departure was early in the morning and when we did arrival in Barcelona was still morning. We did took the cap at the airport, which we traveled to a small village Espluges.
I think that Espluges is much better place than the center of Barcelona for two reasons. At first, at the center were too much people, but when it comes to Espluges, there wasn't any tourists in addition to us. And second place at the center was so expencive too eat or shop, which is certainly understandable.
Any way, in the evening we went to FC Barcelona's training center, where my little brother was playing whit his ages Barca boys.
Food was there much better than in Finland and I did like very much at the sightseens. But I regret that I didn't had a time to go to watch the Casa de Famil church.
I could have been there longer, than the week, but fortunately we get there agen on March. Because my brother did get the invited to practice whit Barca agen. And who knows if we could move there.

I'm going to tell you about one of my favorite food... And it's Lasagne! It's an Italian dish and it usually includes pasta, tomato sauce and cheese sauce. It can includes too minced meat, fish or vegetables for example. Lasagne is cooked in oven after baking minced meat. Making Lasagne takes about half an hour.

I've eaten Lasagne in many places: In restaurant and at home for example and my mother's Lasagne is the best in my opinion. I like it very much because it's so tasty. It is also quite oily and fatty but it doesn't harm when you do sports and burn calories.

Lasagne is not the only good pasta dish. Almost all types of pasta are delicious. It's also true athletes food because it includes a lot of carbonhydrates. My team always eat chicken pasta before a game. I look forward to the next time when my mother makes the appetizing Lasagne. I recommend everyone to eat Lasagne!

Floorball

I am writing my blog about my hobby, floorball. I think that floorball is a good hobby and I enjoy about playing it. I took up floorball when I was eight-year-old, so now I have been into it for seven years. I have played my whole life in Tikkurilan Tiikerit. I am now at B-junior age so we have players who have born in 1996 or 95. This season we got to SM-series so we will have games all around Finland and the games will be tough.
I think that floorball is a good hobby for everyone. It is easy to start and you get a good exercise when you run after the ball. There are many clubs where people play only for exercise, so you don´t necessarily have to play floorball for serious. In many fields, where you need a good condition, floorball is also very popular. For example firemen and polices often have floorball practices couple times a week.
Floorball is a young hobby, and its popularity is growing all the time. In some day, floorball can easily be an Olympic-sport.

My different midsummer

Last midsummer was awesome and different. I went to Eesti with my family and friends.

We left in the morning at 08.00 and everyone was so sleepy. We ate good and delicious breakfast on the ship. Me and my friends went to the shop and I bought some snacks.

We ordered taxi and we went to our hotel. Our hotel was Pirita hotel. When I arrived to my hotel room I just got laid down on the bed. After that we went to the spa. There was all kind of therapies and mom said that I can choose one of those. I got a head massage. It felt so relaxing.

Midsummer is not so remarkable party in Eesti. People can notice easily that it is midsummer in Finland. People are drinking, being with friends and being in their summer cottage.

After relaxing massage and the others therapies we went to eat chinese food. Everyone was hungry like the wolf and ate pretty quickly.
We went to store and bought all kind of snacks for the night. We ate and we watched TV. We went to the beach in the midnight. There was fantastic moon in the sky and we also saw a shooting stars.

Perfect holiday

Last summer, at the second day of my summer holiday, I went to Greece with my family. Our flight left at eight in the morning and I wasn’t sleep at all because of our middle school graduation party. So I was really tired, but as soon as we came to our hotel in Crete, Rethymna Beach I was super lively! I have been in Rethymnon now six times, so the place is familiar to me and it’s a perfect way to start my summer holiday every year!
Every morning we go to our hotels breakfast witch is nearly perfect! There is all kind of fresh juices, warm bread, Greek yogurt and fresh vegetables and fruits. After we have eaten, we go to the beach. There we sunbathe and listen good music, go to swim in the ocean, walk at the beach or talk to other vacationers. When the sun goes down, we switch better clothes and go to eat out.
This time we also go to Chania, second biggest town in Crete. I want to go shopping at Chania because there were all my favourite clothes shops! We shop all day and went to eat some snacks. I bought some really nice summer clothes! The trip at Rethymnon to Chania takes about one and half hour at the buss, so when we went back to hotel I was pretty tired. Still I have to go to beach to take pictures and tanning.
At our last day I wanted to try something new, so I went to parasailing. It was really awesome experience and perfect way to end our vacation! At the evening we went to fancy restaurant because my dad had a birthday, so we celebrate it. It was really perfect day!
So our holiday lasted seven days and it was the best vacation where I have ever been! We are going to same place again next year, but this time I’d like to have my best friends or my boyfriend with us!
And the end some pictures:

Hey there!
I'm really interested in travelling and I would like to tell you my thoughts of it.

I think that almost everyone likes to be in some other country more than in their motherland specially in wintertime when it is cold and dark here in Finland. Often would be desired to live in somewhere warm or ''famous'' country for example Spain or the United States, and I would like it too. It would be fantastic if my mothercountry would be warm or hot year-round.

I have visited only countries that are in the Europe and I have enjoyed being there, but still I would like to visit North America or Australia. There is a possibility to do exiting things and I believe my stay there would be pleasant. In abroad language skills are improved and it is always good. I recommend travelling because you get a lot of new experiences and learn about other cultures.

I choose to be happy
Hi all readers and other bloggers!
I'm so excited! Today it begins!
Last week I decided to change my lifestyle. I realized that if I want to stay healthy I have to make a difference. So no  more unhealthy snacks, hamburgers, soda, cookies etc. Except on Fridays because that’s the only day when I can eat whatever I want but within limits. I play football but still I want to train harder and move more. That’s why I’ve started to exercise at the gym and jog more.

 Day one here it goes!
I woke up at 7:00 am and took a refreshing shower. Then I ate muesli and yogurt for breakfast and took also a glass of orange juice and one mandarin. Then I went to school for ‘’morning training’’. There I train with my school mates who also play football like me.
After that it was time to do some studying. I noticed that I had                more strength and energy.  After school I went to home and ate a fruit salad for snack and then started to do homework.
When I finished with my homework I went out with my friends for a while. Then I went back home for dinner. I ate half of a plate salad and ¼ of a plate fish and other ¼ of a plate fish.
Then I watched TV and went to sleep so that I get enough time to sleep. You need to rest too if you want to live healthy.
So if you want to leave more healthier that you do now here are my tips for you:
1.    Eat healthier and more regularly
2.    Exercise at least half an hour for a day
3.    Sleep sufficiently
4.    Remember to relax and enjoy your life

Proud to be finn

This is my list of things that makes me proud to be finn
Nature
Finnish nature is certainly Europe's cleanest and most beautiful. Many countries don´t have so much untouched nature that Finland has. Finland has also many lakes. (Actually here are187 888 lakes)
Sauna
Sauna is very finnish invention that other cultures don´t have. During the Middle Ages Finns took care of their hygiene in the sauna meanwhile Central Europeans was dying in the black death.
Sports
Finland is small country but it has many world famous athletes. Especially in winter games like skiing, ski jumping and hockey.
About corruption and democracy...
Finland is the worlds least corrupted nation. Finland has also very proficient politics and modern advanced democracy.
Education
Finland has maybe the worlds best education system.
Technology
Everyone knows Nokia.

CROATIA

The most wonderfull trip, I have had so far!

Finally in Croatia
I travelled with my best friend, her family and her cousins. The whole trip we had was amazing! After some problems (my friend´s lost passport, broken plane and delayed flights) we finally arrived in Split and soon after that in our travel destination, Mimice. We were booked accomodation from www.homeaway.fi
and to our delight it turned out to be better than we expected. After some unpacking we settled down, relaxed and started to planing our adventures.

Holiday plans
First morning in Mimice was woderfull and hot! After breakfast my best friend and I wanted tolook around the neighborhood and we found ourselves from a lovely small beach with crystal clear water. The water was so tempting that we had to try it and we decided to spend the day sunbathing and swimming. On the next days we looked forward to try some ¨extreme¨ activities like paragliding, rafting and boating. I could tell so much about them but the most interesting was rafting because there we had no idea what to expect. In fact for me the actual rafting wasn´t the nicest part but the view (with waterfalls and mountains) and the clean and fresh water where we jumped in from high rocks was my highlight of the day.

Evenings
In the evenings like in many Southern Europe countries, people (like we did) love to eat out and have fun with friends. Sometimes we were too tired to go to restaurant so we grilled in our own balcony and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It doesn´t matter where we ate because everywhere were cheaper than in Finland.
All in all, after ten days experience I can recommend Croatia for both relaxing and activity holidays.
I can´t wait to go there back!

My Blog
Review
In this blog I’m going to present you the latest movie I’ve seen. The movie is called “Blood and Bone”. There is this man called “Bone” (real name Michael Jai White) in Los Angeles, who takes the underground fighting world to his lead while he is trying to fulfill a promise to a dead friend.  It’s a pretty violent movie because its fighting scenes, but I liked it very much and I think that many other boys that are in my age would like it too. I think that Michael Jai White, lead role, made an excellent work with acting in fight scenes. I’ve heard that White has got seven black belts in seven different martial arts. No wonder he can make the fight scenes to look so realistic. As a movie this wasn’t in high class in my opinion, but still the fighting made it look really good.

I just watched American TV series called Prison Break. I really loved the show and it was awesome, because everything had planned so great. Story includes many plot twists. Prison Break series was so addictive, when you watched one episode you always wanted to watch another one. I think, that was sometimes very annoying, because it took a lot of time from my everyday life.
Prison break series has four different seasons. Each one has about 20 episodes with the exception of third seasons. One episode takes about 40-45 minutes without taking notice of the last episode of prison break. I rather would call the last episode to movie than normal episode, because it takes almost two hour.
In the first season of the Prison Break, Michael Scofield (main actor) arranges himself to a prison where his brother Lincoln Burrows (called linc) has been charged to death from a murder that he didn’t do, it was a set up by the government. Scofield has the blue prints of the escape on his skin. He organizes things in the prison to a point that he can escape with his brother and some other prisoners, whom helps him with the escape. Organizes take three months in the prison and then whole gang are ready to escape perfectly.
The second season narrates about prisoner’s life outside the prison. Some of them get caught and some keep running and hiding. I think it was really enjoyable! Others, than FBI get also interested about prisoners, because they all have big rewards. In the end of the season Michael end up to dangerous prison called “Sona” and Linc gets released by all his charges. So sides have changed.  Third season is almost same as the first one. Michael plans escape to himself and makes it happen. Third season is the shortest of them all, because it continues directly from the second season and it only has 13 episodes.

Fourth season of the Prison Break might be the most interesting, because it has many turning points that confuse the watcher. The whole season is based on machine called “Scylla” which assistance the world can be made to a better place to live. Many people are died, because of Scylla. Michael and his whole gang are trying to get the possession of Scylla. After that they get their hands on Scylla, they are released of all charges. Series has not nice ending, because Michael dies, when he is releasing his wife Sara from the prison.
I recommend this TV series to all who likes excitement, addictive and great series! I think that was the best TV series that I had ever seen and I can also promise if you watch all Prison Break season you will not regret!

Here in Turkey

Hello! I have been here for five days and I have had a lot of fun. Our hotel’s name is Club Paradiso and it’s in Alanya. We have all inclusive food and hotel area is big, everything is so perfect! I’m here with my mom, sister, two cousins, aunt, godmother and godmothers daughter. I recommend Turkey to everyone! Here is so much to do. We have been shopping, swimming on the pools, in mud bath, on the beach and in a boat trip etc... And local people are very nice, polite and helpful.
Now I’m going to tell you something about my wonderful five days. We came here at night maybe three o’clock and we went to sleep immediately, I was so tired. When I woke up on the morning and I went to the balcony it was like a dream, the sun was rising and birds were singing. It was perfect day. We were sunbathing, we ate good, we swam and just relax.
On second day we went to the city and we were shopping a lot of clothes and then we went to the beach.
Third day was the best, because we went to the boat trip! There was played music and it brought good mood. Sun was shining and we swam in the middle of the sea!
On fourth day we went to the mud bath and after it my skin was so smooth! I recommend this to everyone! And of course we ate and swam etc…
Now I’m writing this and should go, because we are going to the city to eat out. I have before me two great days! Greetings to all schoolmates to the cold Finland, that here is +30 ° C ;).

SUMMER PARADISE
Summer is much more easier time than winter! In summer you don't have to wear all your sweaters when you are going out, you can just wear for example minishorts and t-shirt.
In summer there is also more leisure activities than in winter, you can go to beach, play some ball games or just wind down even in the backyard.

Even thought Finland's summer is pretty short there is many things that can be enjoyed. There are many cities that are the most gorgeous especially in the summer. Helsinki is one of those cities which come to life in summer. For instance there are many outdoor concerts and sporting events.

Summer is maybe the best season to spend time outside, even whole night, because it's not too cold or dark. Summer is time when it doesn't matter if it rains because weather still warm.

And summer rain is one of the best parts of summer.
Having fun with your friends is one of the most important things in summer. Everything is much nicer when you don't do it alone, right ?

Shy people, sauna, Nokia, icehockey, and lakes.
Those are normal stereotypes of Finland, but what kind of country Finland is and what kind of people there live?
We have great nature here in Finland, for example there is thousands of lakes, forests, and the Lapland.
Finish people enjoy to be in nature and most of people have summercottages all over the countryside of Finland.
We are pretty good at sports, especially in winter games, like icehockey, crosscountry skiing and skijumping.
Stereotypic is that we are shy and quiet, but I don't think so. My opinion the fact is that we are open, friendly, polite and talkative people, but of course it depends  on people.

Finland is welfare state – we have great social supports and learning opportunities.
In other words, state takes care of people and schools are open for everyone and everybody have as good changes succeed with studies.
Finland was the second most least corrupted country in the world (according to the latest survey), it means that the Finish politicians are proficients and reliable, what is very good thing.
Technology is on the high level and Finland is pretty rich country all in all.
There are also lot of beatiful cities, for example Helsinki (which is a capital city of Finland),  Tampere, Turku and Kuopio.

In other words, I think that the phrase ”It's jackpot to born in Finland” hold true, because Finland is safe and in every way good place to leave.
I´m proud of Finland and very thankful that I was born here and get to live here!

voyage of the sea !
It was something really awesome , something what I could ever even to imagine ! That ship was huge. It was the biggest ship where I had ever been. In real life, it was also the biggest passenger ship on the world.
Cruice began from Venice , and ship sailed in the mediterranean. It was something like a dream, when our voyage started. Ship was Huge and luxury , and we was standing on the deck. There were almoust all passengers on the deck and watched beautiful town while we slid far away from the mainland.

We walked again and again around the ship. There were many places in ship. For example: icehall, basketball field , five pools, minigolf , theater, big restaurant, over five bars, many litlle coffeehouse, rock-climbing, game room and so much everything else. Here`s some pictures what I took during this trip!

BOO!
I’m sure everyone has at least heard of the Paranormal Activity movies, if not actually seen one of them themselves. The first movie was advertised as “One of the scariest movies of all time” and everyone was talking about it few years ago. Since then they have made three more movies and few weeks ago I went and saw the latest one: Paranormal Activity 4.
I’ve seen the first three, so I already knew what to expect. I was sure the movie would be a bit boring, since Paranormal Activity 3 had only few hair-rising moments, but I was pleasantly surprised. There I was with my friend, eating popcorn and laughing during trailers, thinking we wouldn’t have to hide behind our popcorns. But once the movie started, it became obvious the movie had improved a lot compared to the previous one. Needless to say, we had to hide behind our popcorns every once in a while with my friend and we weren’t the only ones. Every time there was a scary moment, the whole theater jumped out of their skins and after the movie ended, everyone left the theater with wobbly legs.
I read online that there could be another Paranormal Activity in the making, and it could hit theaters next October. If that’s true, you can sure I’ll drag my friend to see it with me again. Maybe we we’ll forget the popcorn this time so we have no choice but to sit through the scary parts.

Longboarding

Longboarding is a hobby, that anyone can relate to. It gives some challenge to a pro rider, but also is easy to begin for rookies. Longboard differs from a normal skateboard in many ways. Longboard has bigger trucks, wheels  and overall deck.
Also longboard goes a lot faster, even 70 kilometers per hour at its best. Also just cruising and freeriding is a lot more comfortable than with a normal skateboard, because wider trucks and bigger wheels give you a smoother ride, and a longer rolling distance between the kicks. But, longboard has its bad sides, like more speed than you need in some cases, and therefore a chance of getting injured badly like I did last summer.
It was a hot summer day, and I was riding down a small hill, with my button shirt opened. Then there came a real a-hole with his car, and started humping his horn like a madman. Then all ended in a less comfortable way. I flipped with my board and injured myself badly, and the driver didn't even stop and just kept going. From that flip I got seriously bad bruises all over my both hands, on to my ankle, and on to my hip. I also got a small rock underneath my skin, because of the incident.
So longboarding has its good and bad sides, but I recommend you give it a shot.

My favourite TV show is Modern family. It is an American comedy. It has three families in it and they are related to each other in some way. The first season began in Finland in year 2011. And the second season right after that. The show tells about families ordinary life. The program website described the show like this:
”One big (straight, gay, multi-cultural, traditional) happy family.”
I like the show because it has a funny story and very good actors. I like the idea of the show and it has typical events about family life. It shows that every family isn`t that ordinary what people think. There is a lot of different perspectives in it too. In some parts there is a bit like interview section when every member of the family tells his/her own story about the day events. I personally think that the show is the best entertainment ever.  And i can`t way for the next seasons.

An unusual hobby

I interviewed my cousin Elli, who has a little bit unusual hobby which is scouting. She has started it when she was six years old, so now she has been into it for eight years. Elli decided to start it because it seemed interesting and nice. Scouting has its own competitions and during the competition, you have to go to many checkpoints in forest before you are done. Competitions can be at night or at daytime and the distance is usually 10-25 kilometers. There is also camps which took 3 days or 1-2 weeks. Elli choose her  clothes according to weather, if it is raining she have to wear waterproof clothes. Shoes can be at summer what you want to wear but otherwise waterproof shoes. Elli said that basic equipment that you have to have is a compass, a knife and a sleeping bag. So now you know something about scouting!

In love with Greece
I want to tell you guys something about Greece. I have been there three times in my life, and I can tell you that it's one of the most beautiful places in world. Last time when I was there was in June.
I had been sick my first summer holiday week and waited for a trip all the time. It was very interesting to wait how the journey would go. Namely, there were only me and my parents going to that trip. However, we travelled to the island named Crete. Our hotel was in Platanias, little city near to capital of Crete, Chania. Flight to Chania took three and half hours, then we went with a bus to our hotel. Our accommodation was in the center of Platanias. It took only five minutes to go to shopping or cafe.

Food in Greece is just for me. Simply and delicious. They eat a lot of lamb and other meat in there. Especially I like kebabs called souvlaki.
Then I want to tell you about the best place in the world. If you like to lie on the beach, watch the people and enjoy the beautiful scenery, this is for you.
This place called Elafonisi, a long beach where you can wade hundreds of meters. Water is warm, nearly hot because it's so shallow. When I wade there, I found many little beaches where I can be on my own. I think this place is near the paradise. I burned a little in sun there and my next day went a little spoiled. But the place was worth it.
The rest of my holiday went pretty good. Delicious food, new friends, beach and European football championship games nightly. Vacation with parents wasn't so bad what I thought at the beginning.

Sautéed reindeer

Hey bloggers. What would you say if I start a topic about favourite food? Well there’re lot of special dishes and everybody like their own favourite food but mine favourite dish is sautéed reindeer. If you aren’t ever heard about it you should read this. It’s the best food in the world because the taste is so divine and the dish is simply.

Ingredients and the style how sautéed reindeer has been made is the most important thing in the dish. Usually I eat it with mashed potatoes or French fries and not forgetting to mention lingonberry jam. What do you think now?  Have you ever tasted it? Well I can say if you ever taste it you want eat it every year.

I got hooked on it when I ate that dish ten years ago. Nowadays I and my family eat sautéed reindeer every year in winter and it has become a habit in our lifetime. So beware if you taste it or just sniff it you will hook on to it!

On a holiday in Dubai
I was on a holiday in Dubai last winter with my family. It was totally different place that I have ever been. It was great to go from cold and freezing Finland to warm and sunny Dubai.
Our hotel located in a great place and metro station was near. Though tourists we’re using mainly taxies because it didn’t cost much.
One day we spent a whole day in desert safari. That was lots of fun! We had a good driver and he drove very fast and sand whirled. There were two other people in the car too. They were from Philippines. Everyone in the car were screaming. After wild ride we stopped to take some pictures from sunset. Sand was very cold then. After taking some pictures we drove in to Bedouin camp. There we ate really good Arabic food and ride with camels. There was a possibility to try local Arabic clothes and take real henna tattoos. There were also a few dance shows. While people were watching the show some of them lied on the big pillows and smoked water pipes. Desert safari was exotic and amazing experience.
This was one of my days in Dubai. Dubai was nice place. I suggest that everyone and there is always something to do and see.
